Below you can find a list of global indicators relating to Child Health & Nutrition, a sub-theme of Tdh Health Programme.

Tdh contributes to prevention and management of malnutrition in children under 5 years of age in area of intervention by:

  • Supporting the training of health care workers in the diagnosis and management of malnourished children.

  • Offering nutritional counselling to pregnant women, lactating mothers, and caregivers during medical consultations and during community awareness sessions.

  • Being involved in the training and empowerment of communities for the development of healthy and nutrient-rich local keyhole gardens.

Tdh aims to strengthen local health systems to ensure sustainable impact, particularly in rural and low-resource settings. Its approach includes partnering with local authorities to always align interventions with national health strategies.
