Tdh commits to respond promptly to humanitarian crises to cover the basic needs of crisis-affected children, youth and their family while restoring their rights, preserving their dignity and alleviating human suffering. Through its rapid response mechanisms Tdh aims to provide immediate relief, such as essential items (NFI), safe water, hygiene & sanitation, shelter, protection, prevention and primary healthcare to affected communities. To better support crisis-affected families and uphold their dignity, Tdh consider cash transfer programming as one of the most efficient option. This approach enables families to make choices based on their own priorities, thereby promoting autonomy, dignity and resilience.
